Live Food Counters for Weddings & Events in Bangalore
Dosas off the tawa, pani puri filled to order, jalebis from the kadai — the counters your guests talk about long after the event.
Ask anyone what they remember from the last wedding they attended, and odds are it's the live counter — the benne dosa flipped in front of them, the chaat made exactly to their spice level. A live counter turns food from a queue into an experience, and it's the single most requested addition to our wedding and reception packages in Bangalore.
We run every counter with its own dedicated chef and serving assistant, our own commercial equipment, and hygiene practices that hold up to being watched — because at a live counter, your guests see everything. Counters work standalone for house parties and office events, or alongside a full buffet for weddings and receptions.
Counters we run
- Live dosa counter — plain, masala, benne, set dosa and paper roast with chutneys ground the same day
- Chaat counter — pani puri, bhel puri, sev puri, dahi puri, masala puri, made to order
- Sweet counters — hot jalebi with rabri, live badam milk, seasonal specials
- Continental — vegetarian pasta and noodle stations, grilled sandwiches, corn counters
- South Indian specials — appam with vegetable stew, akki roti, filter coffee station in traditional davara-tumbler service
Where live counters work best
Wedding receptions and sangeet nights, engagement functions, corporate family days, apartment community events and house parties. A live counter is what turns plain buffet catering into an experience — the queue at a dosa or jalebi station is half the entertainment. They pair especially well with our wedding catering packages, party catering and evening hi-tea functions. For indicative pricing, see catering prices in Bangalore.
Live Counters — Common Questions
Our most-booked counters: live dosa (plain, masala, benne and set dosa), chaat (pani puri, bhel, sev puri, dahi puri), pasta and noodles (vegetarian), jalebi with rabri, appam with stew, sandwich and grilled corn counters, and a filter coffee station. Custom counters can be designed around your menu.
A standard counter needs roughly 8 x 6 feet and one 15A power point; dosa and jalebi counters use our own commercial gas setup, so power needs stay minimal. We survey apartment clubhouses and small venues in advance to plan placement.
A single dosa counter comfortably serves 150–200 guests over a dinner service. For 500+ guests we recommend twin counters or a dosa + chaat pairing so queues never build up.
Counters are priced per station plus the per-plate menu — see our catering prices page for indicative ranges. Bundling two or more counters with a full meal package brings the per-guest cost down noticeably.
